The Narrow Path to a Fulfilled Life

January 7, 2011| Brandon.Peters

If I could tell you one last thing before I died…, I would tell you about how I live life to the fullest. I would tell you about the great joy I have in my heart. I would tell you about a man who came from Heaven to earth, named Jesus. He came to give us life to the fullest. He told of two paths, one path is wide and there are many people on it. The other is narrow and few travel on it, yet it leads to life in the fullest. The wide path is easy to travel on; it is the path we are on from birth, our default path.

The narrow path is a path that you have to choose to walk, it is not always easy, but it is the most rewarding. There is no middle path and each path leads to different places. The narrow path leads to a place called Heaven and the wide path leads to a place called Hell. Jesus said there is only one way into Heaven and He sacrificed Himself so we may one day live with Him. So, why would I tell you this? It is because I love you. I would not wish destruction on anyone, not even my worst enemies. If you had a cure for someone’s fatal sickness would you not share it?

If you found the way to live life to the fullest, would you not share it with your friends? So, how do you live your life to the fullest?, by following the teachings of Jesus and the words in the Bible. Many think that it is just a bunch of rules but, the fact of the matter is that they are there so that you can enjoy life. Life is far richer when you are free from addictions, when you help those around you, and when you serve a loving Creator who longs for what’s best for you.

If you wish to accept Jesus as your Savior, please pray this prayer:

Dear God, thank you for sending your Son to die for my sins. I know that I am not perfect, nobody is, but I know that the blood that Jesus shed will cover my mistakes. I pray that you would fill my life with your Spirit and help me to walk in ways pleasing to you day by day. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

As always, if you have any questions please don’t be afraid to leave a message 🙂

Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.'” -Matthew 4:10

That’s a lovely photo Brandon Peters. The narrow path is followed by the least of us. Good to see you using your talent to get others on it. You plant the seed and hopefully someone else will harvest in Christ.
