Love is The Reversal

September 14, 2011 |

This photo to me, encompasses the beautiful basics of photographing the ocean, the water rushing over your feet as it makes it’s way back to sea while a fresh wave brings a cleansing flood. Experimenting with different shutter speeds to get different motion in an ever-changing environment, all while breathing in the refreshing air that only comes from the sea, It’s just pure bliss! Right now life is simply amazing! I am just constantly filled with joy and I’ve finally found my true purpose. I can’t even find the words to describe it; perhaps comparing it to a mountain top experience is the best way. Last night a bunch of us went over to a friend’s house and we just talked about God and how He has been working in us lately. I wish you could have been there, I wish you could have seen the passion, felt the joy,…    read more

Scientific Accuracy in the Bible Revealed

The Bible is not primarily a book of science, but it does contain numerous scientific facts. We laugh at some of the scientific data that was available  just a few hundred years ago. If man alone were the author of the Bible, we would expect to find many such errors contained in it. However, if we examine the scientific data of the Bible and find it to be accurate to present-day scientific laws, then we have powerful evidence for divine inspiration given by God to the authors. The scientific data found in the Bible are not only accurate, but were revealed thousands of years before man discovered them for himself. The Bible does not contain any errors typical of the time in which it was written. Would we expect anything less from a book inspired by God? The scriptures are replete with statements suggesting scientific knowledge which predates the corresponding…    read more

Recycle – Reduce – Reuse

April 25, 2011 |

About a year ago every time I went to pray I felt uneasy, like something was missing. I think I knew what it was but I ignored it thinking, “Is this really from God?” But after few weeks I decided that’s it: I was going to do something about it! The problem was that I didn’t take very good of the environment, and that bothered me a lot. Mind you, I never throw garbage in public places; since my childhood my mom had taught me to carry my garbage with me until I come across a garbage bin or even take it all the way home. I always turn off the lights and electronics when I don’t need them. But I felt that there is much more to do. So I bought one of those recycle bins from Wal-Mart and I’ve been recycling my papers and soft drinks cans ever…    read more

Bible’s Inspiration in the Hydrologic Cycle

August 28, 2008 |

Bible’s Inspiration Hydrologic Cycle. Water is the source that maintains all life on earth. The distribution of water however, is quite varied; many locations have plenty of it while others have very little. Water exists on earth as a solid (ice), liquid or gas (water vapor). Oceans, rivers, clouds, and rain, all of which contain water, are in a frequent state of change (surface water evaporates, cloud water precipitates, rainfall infiltrates the ground, etc.). However, the total amount of the earth’s water does not change. The circulation and conservation of earth’s water is called the “hydrologic cycle”. The Hydrologic Cycle-Online meteorology guide Revealed in the Bible: Job 36:27-28 The water cycle was not fully understood until about 30 B.C. by a Roman engineer named Marcus Vitruvius. Yet every aspect of the water cycle was fully revealed to mankind in 1600 B.C.! The Bible’s description is in perfect harmony with modern…    read more
