This photo to me, encompasses the beautiful basics of photographing the ocean, the water rushing over your feet as it makes it’s way back to sea while a fresh wave brings a cleansing flood. Experimenting with different shutter speeds to get different motion in an ever-changing environment, all while breathing in the refreshing air that only comes from the sea, It’s just pure bliss!
Right now life is simply amazing! I am just constantly filled with joy and I’ve finally found my true purpose. I can’t even find the words to describe it; perhaps comparing it to a mountain top experience is the best way. Last night a bunch of us went over to a friend’s house and we just talked about God and how He has been working in us lately. I wish you could have been there, I wish you could have seen the passion, felt the joy, and experienced the love that I felt in my heart.
I’ve never felt quite like this before, I’ve never felt this alive. This didn’t come out of religion; it’s not something that following rules can do, this is from my heart being changed and that is something God alone can do.

For too long I was trying to be a Christian by following the rules in the Bible, It was weary work and I wasn’t feeling joy or freedom. After about ten years of “Christianity†I’ve figured it out (I can be stubborn). The change has to happen on the inside and this isn’t something that we can do ourselves. We need to pray and strive for this; if we do this then God will take care of the rest!
I don’t even know what to say other than everything else falls into place. Things that use to tempt me are so much easier to resist, I have a love for others because of the love in my own heart, and I want to serve out of love, not out of obligation. None of these things take my own strength now because they delight me. This is true freedom.
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26
