Looking at Life in a Whole New Light

January 3, 2011| sheepkinz2

Jesus said, I came to give life, not death, a life in Him. When we get our eyes off the flaws and set them on the real, true beauty, the face of Jesus, we begin to see in a whole new light. When we read His word, we begin to see another image, a reflection of Jesus- his precious Word begins to shine in our hearts. New life begins anew and a seed is planted, and another…. I can see beauty in a stick, yes… in the simplest of things.

My mind and thoughts have been renewed, changed, because the word of God has renewed my wrong/dark thinking into a right/light/godly thinking…. I don’t see all the flaws in self, others, and things in this life as I once did. We know this world is passing away and will, however the Lord said, HIS Word shall never pass away!!!

For Jesus says this to all , ” I AM the Light of the world.” Reading His word brings His light and His life into my being.  We become more aware of the beauty we once overlooked and it truly causes the flaws and imperfections to fade. Our best is simply filthy rags, for no one is righteous, no not one. Today, why don’t you stop focusing on the flaws and negative things, and begin to lift your head up and seek the face of Jesus and let His Light come in and shine in you. The flaws will fade, because the dark/negative things can’t remain when Jesus shines His light and His love, not only upon you, but within you and around you.

Therefore, if your whole body is full of light, and no part of it dark, it will be just as full of light as when a lamp shines its light on you. Luke 11:36

Then Jesus told them, “You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going. John 12:35

Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light.” When he had finished speaking, Jesus left and hid himself from them. John 12:36

Then Jesus cried out, “Whoever believes in me does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me. The one who looks at me is seeing the one who sent me. I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness. John 12:44-46

We should pray without ceasing, that our hearts and understandings may be opened, that we may profit by the light we enjoy. And especially take heed that the light which is in us be not darkness.

Funny just the night before you posted this, someone wanted to PAY me for the bible verses pictures. I told them NO!!! Jesus paid the Price and the word He has given to us is FREE and already PAID FOR!!! Praise be to GOD!!! Merchandising the word is so wrong!!! I haven’t heard from them since. I told them use them freely for they are ALL for GODS glory, not ours, AMEN!!!!

That is a beautiful testimony, we have the same request here and we have to refuse, don’t mind getting paid for design work but, the pieces we create for the Glory of God are Free, Free, Free 🙂
