So this was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Unfortunately it was also one of the most unpleasant places I have ever been, there were thousands upon thousands of mosquito’s. We stayed there for enough time to snap a few shots and then go. We were up there no longer than 10 minutes and my girlfriend had 39 mosquito bites on one leg! It was a great hike though and I would love to go back with some bug spray.
My friend asked me the other day who some of my favorite men of the Bible were. That got me thinking and I think that my favorite is Solomon, here was a man who had experienced all the world had to offer and he was not satisfied with any of it. We have been reading through Ecclesiastes in Bible Study and that is where I discovered Solomon. He knew that there was much more to life though a life with God and he knew that it was so much more satisfying than what the world had to offer.
So many people today are searching for fulfillment through things of this world and they always come away empty. But the things of this world can be a distraction that keeps us from God even though they don’t satisfy. If you are one of those who are searching for meaning in life and want to experience it in it’s fullness I really encourage you to try God. I can’t even explain how wonderful it is to have discovered my purpose in life and it is something I really want everyone to experience 🙂
“I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.” -Ecclesiastes 1:14

Great article! Just a note: the title has a typo in it – “Fullfillment” should be “Fulfillment” (one ‘l’).
Thanks for that, changes made to article 🙂
