BLESSED REVELATION WALLPAPER

Blessed Revelation Wallpaper. The book of Revelation was a book I feared to read when I became a christian; I thought I would never be able to grasp it, or if I did understand it, the book would make me too fearful and I would just worry about the future. The Holy Spirit kept prompting me to read it, I finally worked up the nerve and to my surprise, the very first verses gives a promise of blessing to the reader and the person who hears the prophecies, I got excited and I eventually read the entire book.

Revelation 1:1-3 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

I ask the Holy Spirit to give me understanding before I read any book in the Bible and I did the same for Revelation. The prophecies in the book, to my surprise, could be understood, not in their totality, but, enough for a me to get the grasp of the warnings. There are warnings to the church, warnings to unbelievers about the wrath and judgment of God to come on the earth, also, there is the message of the Glorious return and exaltation of the return of Christ. The book of Revelation also speaks of the new beginning that is prepared for all who believes in Jesus Christ, the Messiah and a fresh start for the earth.

Revelation is there to open our eyes and to reveal to us, the mysteries of God and what He has in store for the human race. Another of it’s purpose, is to wake us up to the fact that His promise to return is not a fairy tale as the world believes, but it is closer than we think. It also serves as an assurance to the believer that the word of God has an unyielding power!

What are your thoughts on the book of Revelation? Have you read it? How as it affected your christian world view? Does it influence the urgency with which you try to spread the Gospel? Has it changed the way you relate to people and live you life? Post Your Comment Below.

Bible prophecy is one of my favorite subjects. I’ve been studying it for years now. The first time I read revelation it made my mind burst with crazy images of the end times. It was scary yet exciting. finding out about the millennium reign of Christ and so many other things strengthened my faith in Jesus. The fact that things on the everyday news are what we used to talk about over ten years ago is flabbergasting at times, but I’m like YES, come Jesus.
