I read an article by Brandon, about demons, and I decided to share my personal story of some accounts I had in the past. This is the first time I am sharing this with anyone on-line, but I think it can be an eye opener for some. Demons are very real, I have had my experiences. Let me share one with you. First, let let me give a disclaimer: I don’t smoke, drink, take any kind of drugs, I have no mental problems etc, etc and what I am about to say may sound crazy!!
For a few months, about five or six years ago, I was working on a Creation Book and during this time, I had some experiences that led me to believe that I had demon activity in our house. I would be troubled in my sleep almost every night and sometimes when I was taking a nap in the afternoon. It’s kind of weird and hard to explain, but this is what would happen. I would go to sleep and seemingly wake up in the night, I would not be able to move or speak and I felt a presence in the room, sometimes I would feel like I am being dragged off the bed and in fear I would try to scream, but my scream would be muffled. The only thing that would stop this thing from happening is if I shout the name Jesus, over and over again, then a peace would fill the room and my natural physical eyes would open. I say my natural eyes, because the room looked the same when my eyes would open. These events would happen over and over again, sometimes I just knew it was going to happen on particular nights, because I would feel the presence, but I would pray for the Spirit of God to fill the room.
Let me jump to a specific time that my eyes were really open to the fact that this was not a dream. I have many dreams and I know the difference. One evening I came home from work about 5pm and went to sleep. In the middle of sleeping I had the same thing happen, my eyes were open, I could see the room, I could see my twin brother (yes, I am a twin) who was home playing video games, I could hear the game I could see all the furniture and the fan spinning in the ceiling etc, etc. I could not move, I could not call out to my brother, I felt totally paralyzed. After a few minutes I heard my younger brother enter the house, he joined my brother in the game and they were having fun, at this point I am like…, what the heck!! I can’t move…Then the scariest thing happened, my brothers friend came into the room and as I watched him pass the bed to go sit by the computer, this ugly, spiny and smoky, dark gray creature, flew out of his chest and jumped on me (UNLIKE ANYTHING I HAD EVER SEEN, NOT EVEN IN THE MOVIES).  As soon as it came on top of me, it disappeared; however, I could still feel the pressure on my chest and arms. I cried out Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! The next thing I know, and (I CAN’T EXPLAIN IT) I was standing face to face with a burnt face guy in the room, he then, like a flash of light came up very close to my face and I began to rebuke the spirit in the name of Jesus, I said, I rebuke you in the name of Jesus!! I rebuke you in the name of Jesus!! I rebuke you in the name of Jesus!!. The side of the room cracked open and I could see in the crack a fiery pit. The spirit left the room into the crack and then my natural eyes were open and a peace filled the room, I can’t explain it any further than that.
Well, to my surprise my brothers were at the same spot in the room playing video games and my brother’s friend was sitting at the computer. I was like uum?!?, I guess it was not a dream?!?. I was puzzled. I waited until my brother’s friend left to tell what happened. (I did not want to embarrass the friend who was not a Christian) I said to my brothers, I have something to tell you but, I am going to tell you something that I should not know, because I was sleeping and I should not be able to tell you this. I told them that I saw when they came home, I told them that they were playing video games and the exact game they were playing and so forth. They were puzzled, because they knew that I was sleeping. I told them the whole story, about the figure I saw jumping out of the friend and the rebuke I gave it, and they were like, Woah!! We heard you groaning in your sleep, but did not know all of that was going on. Later my brother told me that the friend was involved in a lot of drugs and was into reading a lot of mind control books etc, etc. My younger brother also told me he was having some of the same experiences in the night and he could not explain what was happening, sometimes he said they would get violent! We have not encountered anything like that in a while.
If you had asked me about demons and spirits about 6 years ago I would say, yes, I believe, but that would only be based on my obedience to God’s word, not actual encounters. Now I am very aware that they are active on a spiritual level and they do try to disrupt the lives of Christians. There is POWER in the name of Jesus, more than we know. I have had other experiences, but they are mild compared to what I just shared.
You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. James 2:19
The Bible warns us of the entities called demons, or fallen angels, the New Testament discusses the activities and goals of demons throughout its length. For instance, in the first book of Peter, the Bible warns us to be always on the lookout for the devil, or Satan, who is chief among all the demons who contest against those who follow and worship God. In Peter, we are told to always “… be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.†(1 Peter 5:8, NIV)
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37-39

I had a similar experience about 2 years ago. I woke up one night and turned over to the other side of my bed. There was enough night light in my room for me to make out the furniture and wall. I suddenly felt my pillow being dragged from beneath my head and I quickly grabbed hold of it. Whatever was dragging it, gave it a few more tugs and then let go. I place the pillow back on my bed, closed my eyes and prayed in my mind, “I rebuke you in the name of Jesus” About 2 seconds passed and the entity pulled at my pillow again, I dragged it away and said vocally this time – “Get out of here in the name of Jesus” The room was undisturbed for the rest of the night and ever since. I’ve had the same paralysis thingy happen to me more that once before, but this event was the craziest. I told a friend of mine about the event a few days later and he asked why I didn’t just give up the pillow, I told him, no demon is gonna disturb my rest by messing with me – I was determined and I felt no fear because I knew what I was dealing with and who they are afraid of 🙂 Jesus’ power is very tangible and He is always accessible.

there are many such others I could share forth but will share this as I pray the Lord open eyes and ears and heart to believe , believe in the unseen for it is real. the spiritual real is real and very active.
We had been intereceding and living, helping and taking care of another family member. He had died twice and the Lord spared his life. Sadly, this person is still unsaved as I share forth this. He has waxed worse.
In 2010. I was given an open vision. As I lay still I saw I was sitting at a desk in our garage.
My brother walked up to me and as I looked up, there stood behind me almost on top of him. A tall black robed death spirit. As revealed by the Holy Ghost. My brother had kept getting pnemonia and just always at deaths door. I pondered on the vision. that night the death spirit in just a flash because he cannot stay in my room. Flew by in a flash.
the next day I went into inner- session. the death spirit left. The Lord called me to stand in the gap for my brother and the Lord heard and answered. Are yo standing in the gap?
We must pray believing. For praying in unbelief is most assuredly sin and grieves the Lord when His people pray in unbelief.

The Peril of Unbelief

12Take care, brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God. 13But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today,†so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. 14For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end,

DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS, AS WHEN THEY PROVOKED ME.â€

I was living with a family member.
We had our own bedrooms, small house. I had never heard of what Im about to share, nor was I in a church, for we are the church. Made without hands,. Vessels fit for the Master’s good use.
Praise be to GOD!
What Im about to share was all new for me. I would be lying if it didnt feel like my heart was going to jump out me and explode with what I witnessed and what the Lord called me to do, just as Mark shared above. We are called to pray and to believe what we pray, to interecede in the Holy Ghost.
I was home reading, eating and digesting the word of God like a love story, that still today, has never ended in my life and walk with Jesus. He is my friend.
My Husband, my Absolute everything.
A walk with Him , truly intimate and close relationship is real and I could never go back , nor desire to turn back. When you know, you just know. Life without him is death. Life in Him is here and now and eternal, Hallelujah!
Jesus was training me up, raising me up just as he is with Mark and all those covered in the blood and born again. Truly born again.
Are you truly born again and washed in the blood ? I ask you the readers, with all of my heart. Is there an inner change within your being that now manifests outside of your inner being? Does your light so shine for all to see?
One night I lay in my bed. All of a sudden I heard the Holy Ghost speak forth. My desires have now become your desires. I the Lord place my desires with you.
I had an urge come upon me to go get up and sleep in my family members bed. the family member was not home. they had a gambling problem and were in relationship also along with fornication.
I was like Lord, I like my bed. Why am I having such strong urge to go to sleep in family members bed. It became so overwhelming I obeyed.
First night, I got into there bed. It had an iron headboard. Very heavy bed. It shook. I thought, hmm maybe a train or something. it shook again. I thought and pondered and went off to sleep. The next night, same STRONG urge overwhelmed me again. I got up went into there bed.
I lay there on my right side. Across from me was there bathroom and an organ/piano.
All of a sudden the bed shook again. I heard a screeching and a laughing audibly.
Eyes open I saw in a 360, literally behind me,
close to my back. the ugliest looking thing Id ever saw. A long gray/dirty haired witch like woman, rotten teeth. she was laughing. Two men like demons/unclean spirits lay with her behind me.
she tried to claw my back. In just one instant the Lord reminded me of Job and the Lord must give permission if these demons and unclean spirit can or cannot touch Gods people.
Remember in Job. the Lord said, you can do thus and thus and thus, but you cannot take his life.
My heart raced and I began to close my eyes and say in the Name of Jesus, in the Name of Jesus. the blood of Jesus Christ and then prayed and commanded them to go the dry places and to be bound with a silver cord and to be gagged, to not speak forth to another. Led of the Lord I prayed as such.
they shook the bed and left.
I was than released from going back in there
the next night.
Several months later. I was then sent in again.
the persons had once again united- the family member and the partner came to visit.
the strangest thing was this:
The bf of the family member spoke out this. I have no idea why but it was allowed.
he was tormenting me by calling me names , mocking me. The Lord had stirred them up. Purposely so, to be exposed and to for intercession.
He said I put demons in your toilet and there is one sitting on your shoulder. I said , uh no your a liar and the Lord rebuke you. I continued to walk down our long hallway.
He yelled out to me this, ” It is my lord against YOUR”S. I stopped immedailtely and spoke forth soberly and as serious as I felt the Holy Ghost rise up mightily within. ” I pointed directly at him and said,” YOU JUST LOST PAL BECAUSE THERE IS ONLY ONE LORD AND ONE KING.”
when I turned around to continue walking down the hall. I saw two of the largest hands and arms I had ever seen on each side of me.
they raised up 2 SWORDS and drew them across and in front of me, Point to point. the swords were now crossed before me and two inches away from my nose. I saw them and they stayed and remained there until the next evening when this person left.
I was then called to go back into the persons bedroom. To anoint with oil and to pray in the Holy Ghost. the imps began poking me through the bed, over and over. I slapped them and rebuked them on the bed. Continued praying again as led of the Lord. thsi went on and off foe months . when the person came the Lord called me to go forth.
today that person, family member is born again and saved by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Man!! you gave me goose bumps with that story, the Lord is using you in a mighty way, I pray his protection over you, Amen! Amen!

First off I thank you for sharing godly truths here. The realization to many is this is not true.
However when you are in intimate relationship with Jesus, covered by the blood of Christ. the demons will surely try to wage war. but I have GOOd NEWS, Jesus has already won. He wages an even higher war/battle. For we wrestle not with flesh and blood as the bible says this,
Ephesians 6:12
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Mark, I think this topic will go on. I believe people will be lead to share forth as you have done. You have no idea how timely this is. For I just encountered a group of people who -live in unbelief of this.
By the way, I am a twin as well.
I felt the Lord rise up within me as I read your that for me I am too am led to share along with you the truths.
You reminded me of the Lord allowing things to happen similar to what you have so spoken in truth. Mark, the reason for what happened to you is multifaceted. ONE, the Lord is training and raising His people up, to see and to know the spiritual realm. A warrior against the hoards of hell. We are weak but he who is within us is Stronger, stronger and more Powerful than any imp, unclean spirit or the works of Satan. We must remember some important truths. the Lord is reminding me as I type this right now…..In the bible it shows us this:
Acts 19:
11God was performing extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul, 12so that handkerchiefs or aprons were even carried from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out. 13But also some of the Jewish exorcists, who went from place to place, attempted to name over those who had the evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, “I adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preaches.†14Seven sons of one Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. 15And the evil spirit answered and said to them, “I recognize Jesus, and I know about Paul, but who are you?†16And the man, in whom was the evil spirit, leaped on them and subdued all of them and overpowered them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. 17This became known to all, both Jews and Greeks, who lived in Ephesus; and fear fell upon them all and the name of the Lord Jesus was being magnified. 18Many also of those who had believed kept coming, confessing and disclosing their practices. 19And many of those who practiced magic brought their books together and began burning them in the sight of everyone; and they counted up the price of them and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver. 20So the word of the Lord was growing mightily and prevailing.

Thanks Sheepkinz, its interesting that you said “the reason for what happened to you is multifaceted” because I could never understand why these things were happening and why I was able to see what I see and feel what I felt, the experience I shared did open my eyes to the fact that there is a spiritual realm around us that we cannot see unless God shows it to us or allow us to feel the presence.
It is also interesting that you said “the Lord is training and raising His people up, to see and to know the spiritual realm. A warrior against the hoards of hell.”, because I never could figure out what was happening to me. I did hear a doctor say that there is something called Sleep Paralysis and it is a disconnect between the brain and mind just before we wake up that makes us feel like we cannot move, and if we stay to long like that then we may start to have hallucinations, but that explanation did not work for me, because it did not explain why if there is a disconnect between my brain and mind, how was I able to tell my brothers what they were doing in explicit details, even though I was asleep? And why are the so called hallucinations are always evil and react negatively to the name of Jesus? The more I share this with people, the more I realize that other people are experiencing the same thing.
Yes Mark, as I read what you said about the doctor , makes no sense at all…however, scripture points out many times about uncelan spirit and demons…

I know exactly what you are talking about…I used to have similar attacks and they could only go away when I said The Lords Prayer and called out the name of Jesus… this is serious stuff man, thanks for sharing. Bless
