Commentary:: The restoration of Israel’s kingdom will be as sudden and joyful as the birth of a baby. The travail of their tribulation will give birth to glory, and God will love them just like a mother (v.13 ). It will be a time of peace and joy. - W. W. Wiersbe We are living in the time when the signs promised by God are fulfilled or being fulfilled for this new Jerusalem to become tangible. False prophets, apostasy, church people turning away from the true gospel and turning to another gospel, which is not a gospel, people claiming to be Jesus (10,000 in the US alone), Jerusalem becoming a nation, knowledge increasing, men traveling to and fro across the earth at incredible speeds, a move towards a one world government and religion and more. The coming of the Lord is at hand (very near) and we are warned to be ready by giving our lives to Christ. God is always good on His promises and can be trusted. He can be trusted in the small things so therefore, He can be trusted in the big things. Are you ready for the return of our Lord. If He came tomorrow, would your soul be born again and be ready for Him to receive you into His new Kingdom? Yes, a lot of people I speak to keep saying that christians have been saying that we are in the last days for years and that they do not believe. I pray that their eyes are open. Today it seems as if we are no longer counting days, but hours. Let him that have an ear, hear.
